The freshman Wildcats got off to a fast start on Thursday night versus Chelsea and never looked back downing the Bulldogs 35-20.  Novi jumped out to a 22-6 lead by the end of the first quarter and kept the pressure on Chelsea the rest of the night to secure the victory.

Novi’s offensive line led by Blake McCusker, Liam Loomer Jared Engebretson, Joey Haddad and Dorian Haney was impressive all night opening holes for a stable of Novi running backs which were led by Adam Tobias, Matt Sabo, Kevin Li and quarterback Ryan Moore.   Scoring touchdowns for the Wildcats were Kevin Li, Adam Tobias, Max Yanke and Matt Sabo scored twice.  Joey Urban rounded out the scoring for the Cats’ by recording a safety.
